WHIEEEEEEEEEEE! Just noticed that Pete Townshend did an interview in the 'humo' of this week. It's our weekly magazine at home!! I love humo! Last year they did an interview with Roger Waters, Roger Daltrey, BOB GELDOF!!! and lot's of other people, I'm so happy!

Hey nice people!
I'm gonna try to write a decent new blog now :)
Maybe some of you (especially from USA) have heard of Jason, a policeman in Phoenix who's seriously burned, 4th degree. His accident happened in Phoenix, 26th March 2001. A cab hitted his car when he was on his way with the police car. His revaledation was fast for a guy with 4 degree burns! If anybody is intrested in the full story, I'm honoured to send you, just let me know! It's the story about he, his family and his feelings. Very nice story, and it's very well writen in my opinion.

Today in school, had a lot of fun again :D with mr. Weltens in first place, then mr. Jansen (German) who's really crazy sometimes, he was angry at our textbook today :D haha

Weekend!

Hey nice people!
Finaly weekend after 5 days of hard labour in school... okay that's a lie, but we did have a 'hard' time having lot's of fun and pleasure :) Today I had 2 hours free! Our teacher french wasn't in school, so that's good! First hour we had to study, 2nd hour nomore, 'cause we liked it more to ask our surveillant difficult questions about his personality... I still think his middle name is 'freddy kruger' don't know why but.. he wears a hat, and gloves all day!! He's the only teacher that's wearing a tie and a suit! The first thing he said when he entered was: my job is philosopher, can anyone imagine that he gives Latin, English, Dutch, German AND French?? anyway!
My teacher Eglish mister Vliegen (but I call him Bart outside school, it would be stupid to call your own family Mr. Vliegen) is also soooooo good! I's the first year he's teacher in our school and 99% of the students like him. That 1% that doesn't like him is Koen, because Koen can give really stupid answers to the most easy questions. Last time he said 'I know nothing', I couldn't resist to say 'I'm from Barcelona' after that. Nobody seemed to get the joke... exept Bart :D. From that moment on... we are the fawlty-towers-friends!

Hey everybody!
Yesterday I first saw my new guitar-teacher Costa! He'll teach untill april, 'cause my teacher Veerle is pregnant.
He's very very cool, knows Pete Townshend of course and he motivates so much!
My school started yesterday again, after two weeks of heavenly vacation... Some of my friends went shopping and took pictures for me with a poster which they wanted to steal, Katleen Goele and Lise I love you!!!!! They wanted to do it for me 'cause they know I love Bob :D

iPod - Pete Townshend

Hey everybody!
In yesterdays newspaper, I read an article about Pete Townshend and iPods, which I'll try to translate...
Guitarist Pete Townshend warns for iPods.
London- Pete Townshend, guitarist of the band The Who, is afraid that iPod-users who listen at a very high volume-level, will end with a hearing as bad as his. His own ears have namely caused irrepairable damage by earphones he was wearing during recordings, writes Townshend on his website. Therefor he has to rest 36h between each recording to recover. Townshend. Although The Who was known for the very loud sound during their live-concerts, Townshend thinks that the damage to his hearing is only caused because of the use of headphones.

Roling Stones-guitarist Ron wood has a new addiction. He collects stamps. At the moment the 59-year old guitarist tries to ulcerate his alcoholpast away. Therefor he does a lot of painting an collecting stamps.
(I think it's pretty funny to see a sex-drugs-and-rocknroller collecting stamps, would he be exchanging stamps with Keith, Mick and Charlie at the moment??)

Just read the wonderful news: RICK PARFITT IS IN GOOD HEALTH AGAIN!! My day is complete! (as music always makes it complete:) ) God, I thought that Quo wouldn't come to Roeselare in may, where they'll play for their 40th anyversary tour. My dad always loved them, and he's going to Schwung (Roeselare) and when he asked me if I'd like to come with him, sure, no prob mate!

Live 8

It's been 6 months already since Bob, Bono, Midge, Richard and heavy Harvey have put up Live8. I've got the dvd... my grandma said it's crap because it costs too much! How can you say that when the best bands on earth (alive) are playing!! She thinks they're doing it for their own private wealth, overrocked grandpa's! I thought I flipped :D
Still speculating why Status Quo wasn't at Live 8, then my dad said they were really drunk and stuff after they opened Live Aid. I was quite amused with that... for those who don't know Richard, it's Richard Curtis, the guy who made that film called Bridged Jone's Diary and series like Blackader and Bean. For those who don't know Harvey, that's Harvey Goldsmith, he also helped a lot, a lot, a lot with Live Aid. And for thos who don't know Bob, Bono and Midge, shame on you...
Live 8 was amazing! It opened with Mccartney and U2 singing 'sgt Peppers'. Then Coldplay *BANG* everybody in Hyde Park singing! That was the best for me... Untill Elton entered with Doherty singing Childeren of the Revolution - T-rex!!! And last but certainly not least, the Who came, after that REUNION PINK FLOYD!!! and after that the grand finale with rocking Mccartney and Hey Jude at the end.

And it fucking worked! Debt is cancelled for 20 country's and they will make more money free for Africa!

Heroin ??

Just saw this mail :
LYNOTT TRICKED GELDOF WITH HEROIN
Late THIN LIZZY rocker PHIL LYNOTT once "slipped" SIR BOB GELDOF a line of heroin so he could bed his girlfriend behind his back.
The two Irishmen were partying in the late 1970s when Lynott tricked the BOOMTOWN RATS frontman into snorting heroin.
Geldof recalls, "I'd never done it before and it was a f**king long line he gave me, which was very dangerous. But it was all deliberate on his part.
"As I had my head down the bog (toilet) throwing up, he sneaked into the bedroom and tried to jump into bed with my missus.
"I couldn't be angry with Philip because he was so sweet about it. He was just trying it on... To him it was just a laugh."

Good to know that Sir Geldof is my big man... :p

DALTREYYYYYYYYYY (happy newyear)

Hey everybody!
I didn't want to start my blog with happy newyear to everybody, so it starts with Daltreyyy now... stupid!
I do wish everybody a very happy newyear, and i hope 2006 get's better than 2005 but less good than 2007!
For who might be thinking that I didn't write earlier, I was on this beautiful vacation with friends... so good. There was a big party in Xhoris (the village we were) with a lovely DJ. The reason for he is lovely is that he turned on my request which no DJ has ever done!!! He just turned WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN!!!!!!! We rocked! Guess my friends went insane after all the fucking crappy techno music. Anyway.. the only good song of the whole evening.

HE WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN!!! (poor Roger) :p
