the Scorpions (as promissed)

Hey nice people!
Here comes the promissed 2nd blog about my dear Scorpions!!! 1st of all, they're working on a new cd...great, suddenly I remember how to spend my money again :)

Singer Klaus Meine is, at the age of 57, still a good looking guy, with ONE MAN's voice!! When he sings 'Wind of Change' I can tell you, shiver shiver, a whole crowd. Lead guitarist Matthias Jabs is, at the age of 49, one of Scorpions' composers and he's mostly the guy from the 'solo's' ... take a look at this!

With Klaus and Matthias, Rudolf Schenker is the rythm guitarist and composer.Aged 57 he's also very very active on stage and (they say) the most mode-following-man of the band...I feel shivers while he's doing 'Coast to Coast' (if you might be interested)
These boys are the Scorpions totaly: James Kottak, Pawel Maciwoda, Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker und Matthias Jabs.

My first blog!

Hello nice people out there!
I'm Elke, and I live in Belgium, beaaautifull country ;) ... I just made a blog to see how my English is doing, if English people understand the things I say here, then I'm fine... sorry, I'm boring you !!!
What you maybe wanna know is what I like and stuff. I play GUITAR!!! A wonderful Fender Stratocaster, which is still my first and most nice electric guitar. I play for 7 years now, got lesson in classical guitar and then bought me an electric one, and now got an acoustic for about a year I guess. 'bout the bands I like... first of all SCORPIONS!!! Don't know if everybody knows 'em. It's a german band who brings good, heavy rock ('n roll) . And then my favourite band from UK (and America also, 'cause they don't have bands that can compete with these rockers!!) THE WHO!!! Man, I love those guys, such great preformances and voices and guitar! It's the Pete that rocks me :D, and of course Roger's voice that, I think, breaks steal.
So, this here is mr. Pete Townshend. (with his girlfriend mrs. Rachel Fuller, who is quitting smoking I thought, if you might maybe, maybe, maybe read this, KEEP GOING MISS FULLER!! YOU'LL FEEL SO PROUD IF YOU QUITED) I heard you've got two wonderfull dogs mr. Pete, nice going :D I'm sure they love you and you love them etc... :)
Roger Daltrey, singer of the Who, which I first saw on night of the proms (in Antwerp) this year, is uhm ... pretty good looking man, that's the least you can say I think... see yourself! In this photo on the left you see mr. Daltrey, in the middle mr. Townshend and totaly on the right mr. John Entwistle, bassist of the Who, who died unfortunately, man if you could only see his fingers go!!! it's amazing... The 4th man in the Who, drummer mr. Keith Moon also died too early.
